CMA Contracting operates a number of heavy duty marine craft and is uniquely placed to handle projects over or in the water.
The division is specialised in the removal and recycling of redundant structures in ports, at waterways and close to shoreline.
Over the years our group has successfully completed numerous large deconstruction contracts requiring extensive knowledge in the management of both marine equipment and marine projects such as the Wooloomooloo wharf in Sydney, the Pinkenba wharf in Brisbane, the large Port Headland Dolphins wharf and other major projects with a contract value in excess of $10 million. Often these projects are executed jointly by our “marine” and “on shore” divisions which allows an optimal co-ordination of the entire project. This capability sets us apart from any other deconstruction contractor in Australia.
Our marine division offers a wide range of services. This includes:
A team of experienced experts also provides consulting services and budgets for redundant structures. Our highly specialised employees of marine craft masters, operators and engineers allow us to take on marine projects even in sensitive areas like inner city ports and waterways.
CMA’s marine craft, tug boats, working platforms and barges, are partly fitted with on-board heavy duty cranes and winches that can be used for the removal of redundant marine structures. Marine craft will be supplemented by CMA’s large fleet of specialised deconstruction and recycling equipment.
