Car Recycling
With shredders now installed in the CMA group we are better placed than ever to handle and recycle old car bodies. These units tear car bodies apart and automatically recover the non-ferrous metals and produce clean shredded steel for the larger mini mills and/or the export market.

CMA is committed to recycle cars in accordance with international “End-of-Life Vehicle” directives. The directives order automobile manufacturers to reclaim and recycle cars and trucks at the end of their lifespan. It is aimed at decreasing the amount of land filled vehicle waste by promoting the re-use and recycling of autos and their components, encouraging automobile companies to share the responsibility for their disposal. All CMA facilities handle and recycle cars in an environmentally sound way.
