Slag Processing
CMA is looking forward to continuous growth in the Asia Pacific region and supplying thousands of tons to a range of steel mills in this area. These strong trading relationships have opened up new opportunities for us.

CMA’s operations in Malaysia are now crushing, processing and recycling steel slag into value-added secondary products for the Asia-Pacific region. The processing of slag allows CMA to provide feedstock for electric arc furnaces. Through further separation CMA recycles valuable aggregates and fines which are used as additives for the cement industry, for roads and for land reclamation. This is an exciting project for that we see will open up other recycling and processing opportunities in the future.

As a key player in the industry it is CMA’s aim to identify customer needs and to offer tailored solutions to our client base. Over the years we have established a reputation for high quality customer oriented services and we continue to work hard in this area.

CMA and its entities will recycle in excess of 500,000 tons of scrap metal in the next year which will help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening our position in responsible recycling.
