CMA operates an integrated metal recycling business on an international scale.

State of the art recycling facilities are provided throughout Australia and New Zealand, in Singapore, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea and the USA to serve the burgeoning global metal recycling market.

A network of over 20 recycling facilities and a workforce of approximately 350 staff enable CMA to recycle and export almost any kind of scrap arisings.

While Indonesia and China play a major role we also have strong links to Japan, Europe, Korea and the emerging Indian markets. A lot of the lower value metals, that need extensive sorting and separating are sent to selected clients who process these materials in the correct environmentally responsible manner.

With more and more industry going offshore for manufacturing, the export market is becoming increasingly important to our company. CMA has the much sought after AQSIQ Certificate for Registration of Overseas Supply Enterprise, accrediting our group as being able to export scrap materials to China.

Iron and steel are the world’s most recycled materials. We are proud to play a leading role in this recycling process which contributes to a better environment through responsible recycling.
